Lorenzo at EICMA in Milan with Agostini
MotoGP World Champion Jorge Lorenzo paid a visit to the International Motorcycle Show in Milanyesterday where he said "I’ll continue for two more years, then we'll see ...".
Immediately after completing the test at Motorland Aragón, Jorge Lorenzo travelled to Italy on Thursday to attend the EICMA Show in Milan. At Yamaha's stand, the newly crowned champion was received by MotoGP Legend Giacomo Agostini, who delivered a custom Yamaha T-MAX 530 in recognition of his success.
Both then went on to present at the event and sign autographs for fans.Speaking to the Italian press, the Spaniard said: "I will race for two more years, then we'll see. At 15, everything is fun, but then the sport can become routine.”He then added a thought that has crossed his mind on occasion this season: "The death of Marco Simoncelli was a blow to us all, and made us think that it can happen to any of us, but we know that the risk is part of the sport.”
On next season and the return of Valentino Rossi to Yamaha, Lorenzo noted: "It's good for Yamaha, Valentino and me, because it will push meto go faster. I've seen Valentino happy; the M1 is a bike easier, I'm sure he will be strong. With the Ducati, besidesStoner, no one has succeeded; there is something that is not right."
After his trip to Italy, the Mallorcan is off to see his closest fans: On Nov. 19 he plans to celebrate his world title with his countrymen.
