Sky Italia welcomes MotoGP™

Tuesday, 10 September 2013

In an event staged on Monday night, Italy’s Sky platform has presented its plans for 2014, when it will welcome coverage of the MotoGP™ World Championship.

From its range of top sports, MotoGP™ was the only one missing, but Sky was wasting no time on Monday as all three categories of the World Championship were added to its agenda alongside football, Formula 1, golf and tennis, amongst others.

The Monday night presentation took place at the Parenti theatre in Milan, with special guests including reigning World Champion Jorge Lorenzo plus rider turned MotoGP™ Safety Advisor Loris Capirossi, welcoming a new era of television coverage.

From next season, Sky Italia will broadcast all World Championship races live (Moto2™ and Moto3™ included) across its various platforms such as television, internet, mobile and Sky GO.
