BSN: ‘Redding feels no pressure ahead of testing’

Scott Redding is approaching next month’s opening Sepang test session in a calm manner, as pre-season testing begins in earnest ahead of the 2014 MotoGP™ campaign. The Englishman, Moto2™ championship runner-up of last year, steps up to the premier class riding an ‘Open’ machine for GO&FUN Honda Gresini.

“My wrist has recovered, I’m say 90% fit, and my fitness training is going really well,” Redding tells Bike Sport News following his Phillip Island and Motegi accidents of late last season. “I was still injured during the Valencia test (in November), so I have scrapped that…I have got no pressure, I am on a ‘production racer’, but I am racing against a couple of Brits – Michael Laverty and Leon Camier – so we will see how it goes. My main target is to be going for Hayden and Espargaro.”
