Speedweek: ‘Husqvarna ready for Moto3™ debut’

New team Husqvarna Factory Racing is ready to go for the 2014 Moto3™ World Championship, as Germany’s Speedweek reports. The bikes will be fielded by Aki Ajo’s Husqvarna Factory Team with Britain’s Danny Kent and Ajo’s own son Niklas aiming to to fight for podiums and points in the highly competitive class.

As Speedweek reports, the Husqvarna bikes will be mostly identical to the Red Bull KTM Ajo machines with the exceptions of exhaust system, colours and sponsors. KTM will supply the engines. "We’ve built 120 engine units for now," KTM’s racing director Pit Beirer is quoted as saying.

"Our target is to use only five of the allowed six engines with every team using KTM or Husqvarna machinery in this year’s season."
