Marquez quickest yet again ahead of racing

Sunday morning Warm Up at the Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas brought no great surprise at the head of the timesheet with Marc Marquez leading the way, as he has in every session so far this weekend. His Repsol Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa was second (0.303s) with Movistar Yamaha MotoGP’s Jorge Lorenzo third (0.755s).

There is a 40% chance of rain for the race later and the leading Honda pair practiced swapping bikes during the session which they might have to do if the conditions change during the race, though Marquez will be keen to avoid stalling his second bike as he did in practice.

Behind the Honda duo and Lorenzo, the next three riders on the timesheet were all on Yamaha bikes as Bradley Smith, Valentino Rossi and rookie Pol Espargaro occupied positions four to six.

Ducati Team pair Andrea Dovizioso and Cal Crutchlow were seventh and eighth respectively, with Andrea Iannone (Pramac Racing) and Stefan Bradl (LCR Honda MotoGP) completing the top ten.
