MotoGP™ Facebook community reaches 7,000,000 mark

The Facebook page of the MotoGP™ World Championship has reached a total of 7,000,000 fans, coinciding with this weekend’s Iveco Daily TT Assen.

To celebrate the landmark fans can enjoy a full re-run of the classic 2007 TT Assen MotoGP race on Facebook.

MotoGP’s Facebook community has grown by more than 2,000,000 fans already in 2014 with followers across the globe enjoying the exciting action in the premier class as World Champion Marc Marquez battles with the likes of Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa, whilst the Moto2™ and Moto3™ classes provide further enthralling entertainment.

Whether it’s race day or a quiet weekday during the off-season MotoGP provides fans with exclusive content, news articles, photos, free videos and informative updates via social media 365 days a year.

In addition to MotoGP’s seven million Facebook fans, the World Championship also has close to 1,000,000 Twitter followers, over 550,000 Google+ fans and 300,000 plus Instagram followers. The MotoGP YouTube channel, meanwhile, has attracted more than 580,000 subscribers and has produced more than 315,000,000 video views.
