Bikesport News - Rea and Laverty head to Brno for MotoGP™ talks

Jonathan Rea and Eugene Laverty have flown out to the Brno MotoGP™ round for talks regarding potential moves into the World Championship, as report Bikesport News.

The publication quotes FIM WSBK rider Rea as saying, “I’m waiting to hear from Honda what their plan is for me. I have had interest from teams in MotoGP and in World Superbike and that is exciting, but a little early. When I spoke with Honda management in Japan, I told them what my wish list comprised and since then many things have happened. I am sure that this weekend and the following weeks I will have more information.”

Of Laverty’s future, meanwhile, Bikesport News report, ‘he is on a shortlist to replace Andrea Iannone in the Pramac Ducati squad. He has close links with the Ducati Corse boss Dall’Igna after they spent time together at Aprilia in World Superbikes.’
