Scaphoid fracture for De Angelis

Scaphoid fracture for De Angelis

Following medical checks for Alex De Angelis on Monday a scaphoid fracture has been detected in the rider’s right wrist.

On the day after the Misano race De Angelis went to the Hospital of the State of San Marino for a medical check up to investigate the cause of pain in his right wrist, which had complicated his home race weekend.

A magnetic resonance scan showed a fracture to the carpal scaphoid of the right wrist. The injury was immobilised with a wrist brace by Dr. Simone Grana.

The NGM Forward Racing rider will undergo daily magnetic TECAR therapy and laser therapy in order to recover and be ready for the Gran Premio Movistar de Aragon.
