MotoGP™ represented at key Sport Industry event in London

Manel Arroyo, Dorna Sports’ Managing Director represented MotoGP™ at the Nolan Partners Sport Industry Breakfast Club in London on Friday, a conference attended by numerous key figures in the sports business sector.

Mr Arroyo was invited by BT Sport to participate in a panel discussion, joining John Petter, CEO of BT's Consumer Division and another key partner of BT Sport, Mark McCafferty, Chief Executive of Premiership Rugby.

Held at BT’s head office in central London the event included a discussion about the current and emerging sports media landscape, over a year on from the launch of BT Sport.

Nolan Partners Sport Industry Breakfast Club events feature interviews with leading figures from the world of sport and business. Also attending the event were further key figures from major sports federations and clubs, broadcasters, journalists and sports marketing agencies.

The forum included conversations on media rights, innovations in broadcasting technology and additional current topics across the sport business sector.

Mr Arroyo commented, “MotoGP is changing and thanks to evolving technology people are consuming sports content in new ways. We are working closely with our partner BT Sport to develop companion apps to enhance the viewing experience for UK fans of our sport, MotoGP, which is so rich in data and content.”
