Simoncelli remembered by Czech riders in Brno

Nearly 4,000 riders attended the annual Brno event to honour the late Marco Simoncelli.

Almost 800 more people attended the ride compared with last year, the riders streaming onto the track, creating a moving chain approximately two km in length. A total of 3795 motorcyclists rode together on the track, creating a spectacular scene as Simoncelli was fondly honoured.

This was the fourth time the Czech riders have convened in memory of former MotoGP™ rider Simoncelli, who tragically died at the Malaysian Grand Prix in the autumn of 2011. Earlier this year at Mugello Simoncelli posthumously inducted into the Hall of Fame as a MotoGP™ Legend.
