World’s fastest youngsters in Andalucia for Rookies Cup selection event

It is that time of year again, with the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup selection event taking place in the south of Spain.

This year 109 of the fastest young riders from 30 nations have been invited to Guadix, near Granada, to show their skills.

After an initial two days of track action on Tuesday and Wednesday a smaller group will be invited back for Thursday. From them a band of only around 12 will be invited to join the Rookies Cup for 2015, the ninth year of competition.

The full provisional entry list for the 2015 Cup, including those invited back from this season, will be published following the selection event.
