Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Colaninno commented, “In two years I hope to see Aprilia at the front. The first year it will take patience, but in the second the podium is possible.”
Meanwhile, Romano Albesiano Sporting Managing Director of Aprilia, is also quoted as saying, “The 2015 Aprilia MotoGP engine, derived from Superbike, is ready. It is very powerful, more than we expected. In MotoGP though you need more than just horsepower. A complete technical package is needed, but having an engine ready is a good starting point.”
