Last day in south of Spain sees Bagnaia ahead of the rest

Friday’s Jerez test was affected by rain again but conditions improved towards the end of the afternoon allowing Francesco Bagnaia to mark Friday’s best time in the Moto3™ class.

The new Italian Mapfre Aspar Team Moto3 rider produced a best time of 1’50.832 in the final hour of the test, on the 64th of 68 laps undertaken on his new Mahindra bike on Friday.

One of Bagnaia’s new teammates the 2014 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup champion Jorge Martin was second fastest, lapping 61 times and finishing 0.255 behind his pace setting colleague.

In third place SKY Racing Team VR46’s Romano Fenati did not carry a transponder on his new 2015 KTM but his time was given as 1’51.600.

Niccolo Antonelli (Ongetta-Rivacold) was fourth, the third Italian on track settling in with his new team this week and finishing 1.152s off P1.
