The Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas action on Saturday got started with Efren Vazquez (SAXOPRINT RTG) leading FP3 by 0.636s, ahead of Estrella Galicia 0,0 teammates Alex Marquez and Alex Rins.

Vazquez headed an all Spanish and all Honda top three with the best time of the weekend so far of 2’16.524 – and he was nearly a second ahead until Marquez and Rins made late improvements.

KTM riders Niccolo Antonelli (Junior Team GO&FUN), Isaac Viñales (Calvo Team), Jakub Kornfeil (Calvo Team) and Jack Miller (Red Bull KTM Ajo) occupied positions four to seven respectively on the timesheet.

Honda pair Alexis Masbou (Ongetta-Rivacold) and John McPhee (SAXOPRINT RTG) also featured in a top ten which was rounded out by Danny Kent (Red Bull Husqvarna Ajo).

Enea Bastianini (Junior Team Go&FUN Moto3) lost the front end on a rumble strip early in the session, but he walked away without injury.
