Baldassarri: “Finally it's time to get back riding my Kalex”

Simone Corsi and Lorenzo Baldassarri discuss the Moto2™ World Championship season opener in Qatar.

The Athina Forward Racing Team Italian Moto2™ duo, composed of Simone Corsi and Lorenzo Baldassarri, is looking forward to race again. The veteran Corsi, returning after the accident at Silverstone, is confident he can compete with the quickest. Baldassarri, one of the VR46 Riders, will make his debut in the race with the new Athina Forward Racing livery and he is anxious to ride again his Kalex bike.

Lorenzo Baldassarri:
"After a long wait, finally it's time to get back riding my Kalex for the race. I will debut with this team and I'm really anxious to do well. It 'a great opportunity for me: I have a competitive bike and a solid team behind me. I cannot wait to get on track".

Simone Corsi:
"Perhaps more than the others I can’t wait to get on track on Thursday. My season last year did not ended as I hoped and the rehabilitation process was really long and tiring. In the pre-season the weather was pretty bad and I could follow the program I had in mind. Now it's time to get back riding my Kalex for the race. The goal is to get back in the positions that count as soon as possible, it will be difficult, but I'm really motivated”.
