FIM CEV Repsol Moto3™ Junior riders to race at #FrenchGP

FIM CEV Repsol Moto3™ Junior riders to race at #FrenchGP

The legendary Le Mans circuit will host the second round of the FIM CEV Repsol.

The Moto3™ Junior World Championship contenders will share the stage with superstars formed in previous FIM CEV Repsol seasons now being current MotoGP™ World Championship figures: Quartararo or the Márquez brothers to name just a few. The French track, with its nine right-hand and four left-hand corners, and measuring just over four kilometres long, will surely delight most riders, though it may provide a tough challenge for the majority who are unfamiliar with it.

Full of confidence after his triumphant debut in the FIM CEV Repsol, leader of the overall rankings Joan Mir (SPA-Honda) must stay focused in the face of fierce competition from the other Moto3™ riders. Second and third placed finishers Arón Canet (SPA-Honda) and Nicolò Bulega (ITA-KTM) pushed the Mallorcan rider hard in the opening round. In fourth place overall, Dutchman Bo Bendsneyder has proved to be in good shape at the start of the season. But with no clear favourite and a long season ahead everything is up for grabs among the more than thirty riders who are in the hunt for the honours.

The action will start on Friday at 12:00 in the first qualifying session, followed by a second session scheduled for 16:05. Teams and riders will be ready to compete in the race on Saturday at 16:30.
