Rins: “I’m losing a lot in the third sector”

Alex Rins identifies where he needs to improve as he secures his seventh front row start of the season in Aragon.

Paginas Amarillas HP40’s Alex Rins bounced back from his Disqualification at Misano to secure second on the grid for Sunday’s Moto2™ race at the Gran Premio Movistar de Aragón.

The Spanish rookie set a 1’52.267 to secure another front row start in his impressive debut season in the class. He was the only rider to get within four-tenths of pole man Tito Rabat as he finished 0.035s off the pace of his compatriot.

The Moto2™ race at Aragon kicks off at 12:20 local time on Sunday.

Alex Rins: “I tried to push very hard during the whole Qualifying. Finally we need to adjust the sectors a bit because I’m losing a lot in the third sector. Anyway I’m feeling good and ready for the race and need to say thanks to the team because we’ve got a very fast bike.”
