Pedrosa Blog: Three weeks full of excitement

Pedrosa Blog: Three weeks full of excitement

We’re proud of this win, in one of the year’s most challenging races, in terms of how physical it is…

In his latest official blog for boxrepsol.com Dani looks back on a spectacular Malaysian GP that saw him take his second victory of the season:

Hi everyone,

We’ve finished the tour of Asia now, and we’re really happy with how it went.

We’ve had three really beautiful weeks, with the whole team excited about every race, and us overcoming any difficulties and experiencing some intense emotions.

We’re slowly getting back into the rhythm of things, which has helped us to ride better and get better results.

You’ve supported me all year, when we’ve had bad races, and now that they’re going well for us. And it’s been like that for years now, season after season. That’s why I want to dedicate this victory to you again.

In Sepang, I felt good on the bike and enjoyed the track. We’re proud of this win, in one of the year’s most challenging races, in terms of how physical it is. Also, together with the race in Japan and Marc’s victory in Australia, the Repsol Honda Team has scooped the “Asian treble” this year.

In other news, we had a little time to enjoy some Japanese food, a cuisine that I love. Both in Japan and Malaysia, we took the chance to have Teppanyaki for dinner, but I like pretty much everything. It’s really fun to go around trying and discovering new foods!

Now I’m thinking about Valencia. It’s a special circuit for the end of the World Championship. I’m looking forward to seeing you all there!

Question of the week
What do you think of your fans’ motto: “DON’T RACE ALONE”? All the best, legend. Question from Marco26

Hi Marco26,
It’s a lovely motto! It shows, in a really simple way, just how good the fans are. I’m really grateful to every single one of you!

Hugs,

Dani Pedrosa
