Pedrosa Blog: We’re going to Cheste with all your support

We’re going to Valencia now and we’re really excited about it. Finishing the season so close to home is a real privilege.

In his latest official blog for boxrepsol.com Dani looks ahead to the final round of the season at Valencia:

Hi everyone,

The World Championship has ended in Valencia for years now. I’m glad that it’s the same this year.

I was able to spend this weekend in Barcelona before travelling, where I was lucky enough to run into Jorge Prado, the Motocross rider. I had met earlier him this year at a Grand Prix.

We’re going to Valencia now and we’re really excited about it. Finishing the season so close to home is a real privilege. You get to race in front of your family and loads of your friends can come and see you.

This year, to round everything off, we’re going to have a panel in the team box with two thousand names – all of you who signed up on boxrepsol.com. It’s wonderful seeing the names of so many fans who have been with us since the first GP, having them right by us for the whole weekend.

I’ll also have my fan club with me, they never let me down! Even after all these years, they still give truth to the motto that they carry to every corner of the world: “never riding alone”. So true!

We’ve always done well at Cheste. I remember a few victories there, and this weekend I hope we can fight for another one and go home happy.

We’ll be staying in Valencia until the Wednesday after the GP, to test for the 2016 season. But we’ll get to that next week!

Question of the week:
Why do you still sometimes have your arm bandaged? I admire you for everything you’ve achieved over the years and especially for being such a great person! With love from Italy. Question from Federica

Hi Federica,
Thanks for your question.
I need to be careful with my arm still. For at least a year, it’s good to be especially careful with preparation and recuperation. There’s always time for recuperation, and for consolidation.

Hugs,

Dani Pedrosa.
