Canet: “My foot is getting better”

Canet: “My foot is getting better”

Aron Canet managed to complete a full day of testing at Valencia on Tuesday despite his ankle injury.

Estrella Galicia 0,0’s Canet rode alongside World Championship riders for the first time, and put in 86 laps –344 km. He limited his track time to Tuesday, due to not being fully recovered from his right foot injury.

Despite this he managed to get to grips with his steed for next year, the 2016 Honda, and ended the Tuesday second on the Moto3™ timesheets.

Aron Canet: “This first test with World Championship riders has been very exciting. Yesterday I didn't ride, so today I focused mainly on familiarising myself with my new crew - with whom I will work in 2016. I also checked how I felt on the bike when injured. My foot is getting better despite the crash I had on Sunday, and tomorrow I will visit the doctors in Barcelona again. They will assess how my recovery is evolving and decide what to do to help me recover as soon as possible.”
