#StatAttack: Can Binder make it four in a row?

Brad Binder could become the first Moto3™ rider in history to win four consecutive races at the Catalan GP.

Here is all the essential information you need ahead of the Moto3™ race at the Catalan GP:

  • None of the riders currently competing in the Moto3™ class have had a grand prix victory at the Catalunya circuit.

  • At the Catalan Grand Prix, Brad Binder could become the first rider to win four successive Moto3™ races since the class was introduced to replace the 125cc class in 2012. Binder’s best result from four previous Moto3™ appearances at the Catalunya circuit is 6th in 2014.

  • Brad Binder is the only rider who has scored points in all of the first six Moto3™ races of 2016.

  • Enea Bastianini has finished second for the last two years in Catalunya. His second place at this circuit two years ago was his first podium in grand prix racing in just his seventh GP start. Bastianini is the only rider currently competing in the Moto3™ class who has a grand prix podium finish at the Catalunya circuit.

  • Jorge Navarro’s only previous grand prix appearance at the Catalunya circuit was last year, when he finished sixth after qualifying in third place on the grid.

  • Romano Fenati has appeared in all four previous Moto3™ races held at the Catalunya circuit, with a best result of fifth in 2014.

  • Fabio di Giannantonio’s second place finish at Mugello in just his seventh GP start was the first time that he has finished in a points scoring position in grand prix racing.
