The TT Circuit Assen is the only venue that has been ever present on the World Championship calendar since it began back in 1949. Over the last 68 years the historic track has played host to some simply incredible battles and in 2015 before the Dutch GP motogp.com took a look back at the best of them.

The 2015 Dutch GP did a great job of living up to the battles from the past as it bore witness to an amazingly dramatic race. Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) arrived in Assen leading the championship by one point from his teammate Jorge Lorenzo (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) who had won the previous four races in a row, while Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) was determined to bounce back from two consecutive DNFs...
