Aegerter unfit for the #BritishGP

Swiss rider will be unable to ride at Silverstone

Dominique Aegerter (CarXpert Interwetten) will sadly be forced to miss the upcoming Octo British Grand Prix at Silverstone Circuit, after the Swiss rider suffered a crash whilst training and tore two ligaments in his shoulder, as well as suffering a minor fracture in his ribs. Aegerter, who is a GP winner and Moto2™ veteran, suffered the incident whilst training on Friday and will sit on the sidelines for Silverstone, with the Gran Premio di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli the next race on the agenda for the rider from Rohrbach to shift his focus to.

Aegerter will be replaced for the British GP by CEV Moto2™ rider Iker Lecuona, as the Spaniard hits the road to Silverstone from his most recent races at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve in Portimao.
