#AragonGP: Moto2™ Sunday Guide

The top qualifiers in the intermediate class get hit with a #StatAttack

- Sam Lowes (Federal Oil Gresini Moto2) is on pole for the fifth time in 2016. From his previous four poles this year he has had three podium finishes, including a victory at Jerez.

- Alex Marquez (Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS) is in second place on the grid – his best qualifying result since moving up to the Moto2™ class

- Takaaki Nakagami (Idemitsu Honda Team Asia), who has finished on the podium at the last two races, starts from third place on the grid – his fourth front row start of 2016.

- Jonas Folger (Dynavolt Intact GP) heads the second row of the grid, which is his best dry weather qualifying result since he was second fastest qualifier at the Spanish Grand Prix.

- Johann Zarco (Ajo Motorsport) has qualified in fifth place on the grid, ending a sequence of seven successive front row starts.

- Lorenzo Baldassarri (Forward Racing), who starts from sixth place on the grid, will be aiming to become the first Italian rider to take back-to-back victories in the Moto2™ class

- Alex Rins (Paginas Amarillas HP 40), who has qualified in 13th place, is the only rider on the grid that has won a grand prix at the Aragon circuit – the Moto3™ race in 2013.
