Monlau Repsol: Online Masters for Motorsports Engineers

First online, post-graduate course of its kind ready for its first students

Monlau Repsol Technical School presented the Motorsport Engineering Online Masters at the Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana on the Thursday of the Valencia GP, with the event attended by Emilio Alzamora (CEO at Monlau Repsol), Iban Ventura (managing director of the Monlau Group), Jaime Serrano, (manager director at Monlau Repsol Technical School) and Mark Tamaño (Operative Coordinator of the Online Master). The four men revealed the details of the program, aimed at those engineers and motorsport professionals who can’t attend lessons in person.

The Online Masters, taught entirely in English language by a native, comes from the accumulated experience of the seven on-campus editions of the Motorsport Engineering Masters, created in 2009. The purpose of these postgraduate studies is to prepare engineers specifically for motorsport, both on two wheels and four. Therefore it is the first and only course 50% divided between these two specialties, but with modules in common. At the time of enrolment students can choose between car and motorbike, or opt for the third option - which includes both.

Jaime Serrano, Managing Director, Monlau Repsol: "The creation of this innovative Online Master shows the desire to satisfy a new training demand internationally in the digital age, with the experience and method of an experienced professor’s faculty active in major international race Championships and with the Monlau Group's teaching guarantee".
