Lorenzo's homage to motorsport's greats opens in Andorra

Jorge Lorenzo's new museum 'World Champions by 99' in Andorra celebrates the great champions of MotoGP™ and Formula 1

If you’re a lover of motorsport history and nostalgia, then a trip to the brand new museum opened by MotoGP™ superstar Jorge Lorenzo could be just the ticket for you.

Situated in Andorra, the museum ‘World Champions by 99’ is a fulsome tribute to great champions throughout the history of both MotoGP™ and Formula 1.

Lorenzo has spent more than four years putting together an impressive collection of material, and the museum showcases the very best of the 'Spartan'’s collection.

On display are items worn by all the great champions from motorcycling’s premier class, including Barry Sheene, Wayne Rainey, Kevin Schwantz, Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez.

And from Formula 1, there's an extensive collection of material - including items from legends Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher.

For Lorenzo fans in particular, there is a section celebrating his stellar achievements, and fans can view the motorbike with which he won the 2015 MotoGP™ World Championship with Movistar Yamaha.

The museum also features a sports bar, and entrance costs 10 Euros.
