Miller pushing to cut the gap in Texas

Aussie on a top ten roll as round three touches down in the US of A

Jack Miller (Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS) set his goal for 2017 as the top ten, and so far the Queenslander is two for two and on a roll. Even despite a few more difficult practice sessions at Termas de Rio Hondo, the GP winner pulled it all together in the race and said that was the best he felt all weekend.

Now the focus shifts slightly to cutting the gap to the frontrunners; something Miller felt was too big in Argentina and is looking to work on in Texas – where Honda machinery usually shines at the Circuit of the Americas. Before that though, a little Californian sun and some serious training!

Jack Miller: "Argentina was a difficult weekend, but we managed to put it together in the race and I was inside the top ten, which is my goal this season. I was a little further back from the leaders than I'd have liked and that's something we need to work on next time out in Austin. I feel good heading into the Texas weekend; it's another track I really enjoy and one at which we can normally expect good things from the Honda. I'm looking forward to getting there and seeing what we can do."
