Action for the Czech GP opened wet – very wet – and it was wildcard rider Tim Georgi who shone for Freudenberg Racing Team, taking the top spot and seemingly unstoppable. Almost two seconds clear for much of the session, the gap back to Nicolo Bulega (Sky Racing Team VR46) in P2 finished at 1.025 seconds. Nakarin Atiratphuvupat (Honda Team Asia) was third quickest.
