Marcos Ramirez (Platinum Bay Real Estate) took over at the top of the timesheets in Moto3™ FP1, with blue skies overhead but cool temperatures. He just beat compatriot Jorge Martin (Del Conca Gresini Moto3) as action opened for the final weekend of the year, with Nicolo Bulega (Sky Racing Team VR46) completing the top three.
The biggest headline from the session was a fast crash for newly-crowned Moto3™ World Champion Joan Mir (Leopard Racing) at Turn 10 - rider ok - with the Majorcan then ending the session outside the top twenty after missing out on track time.
