On track: first impressions of the new MotoE™ bike

Big name riders put the MotoE™ machine through its paces ahead of the 2019 FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup

Ahead of the FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup that gets underway in 2019, big name riders are taking the brand new electric race bike for a spin around the Grand Prix circuits. 

500cc Grand Prix race winner Simon Crafar was the first rider to put the MotoE™ bike through it's paces, as the New Zealander took to the Losail circuit at the opening round of the 2018 season.  

250cc World Championship runner-up Sebas Porto was the man to test the MotoE™ machine in tricky conditions at the Termas de Rio Hondo circuit. 

Double WorldSBK™ Champion Colin Edwards, aka The Texas Tornado, delighted the American faifthful in his home state when he took to the Circuit of the Americas on the MotoE™ bike. 

2011 125cc World Champion Nico Terol went for a spin on the MotoE™ machine at the classic Circuito de Jerez.

24-time Grand Prix podium finisher Randy de Puniet was out on the Energica Ego Corsa at his home GP in Le Mans.

Four-time 250cc World Champion and 13-time premier class race winner Max Biaggi was on track in front of his Italian fans at the magnificent Mugello circuit.  

1999 500cc World Champion Alex Criville laid down the rubber in Barcelona on the MotoE™ machine.

At Round 8 of the season, former Dutch Grand Prix rider Jurgen van den Goorbergh put in some laps on the Energica Ego Corsa. bike around the iconic TT Circuit Assen.
