Miller hints at 2020 Ducati line-up

The Aussie all but confirmed he'll be on a latest spec 2020 bike and gave an indication to how the rest of the Bologna puzzle will look

Jack Miller has pretty much confirmed he’ll be remaining in the colours of Pramac Racing for the 2020 MotoGP™ World Championship and will once again be riding a full factory Ducati Desmosedici. The Australian said that “everything is done except from putting pen to paper” with regards to staying alongside Francesco Bagnaia (Pramac Racing) next season.

This news also helps piece together the rest of the Ducati puzzle, with Ducati Team’s Danilo Petrucci looking likely to remain in the factory squad for a second season with Andrea Doviziso (Ducati Team). Plus, rookie Bagnaia also staying with the Bologna factory but will become the fourth man to pilot a GP20 machine.

“Pretty much everything is done expect from putting pen to paper,” said the 2016 Dutch TT winner when asked about his plans for next year. “There’s more meetings going on today, just small stuff. It looks that way, it looks like we’re all going to be having 2020 bikes next year so the boys in the factory are going to be super busy but thanks to them.

“I was lucky enough to head there again after Mugello and of course everyone was so stoked in there, despite the crash and everything we got a big applause when we walked in the building. They’re pushing so hard from home, it’s an amazing factory to be a part of.”

Miller has so far this season either finished inside the top five or failed to see the chequered flag but at the venue of his only premier class victory to date, can Jackass celebrate remaining with Ducati in 2020 by securing a second podium finish of the season at the Motul TT Assen?
