The official poster for the Grand Prix Octo di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini taking place at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli on September 15 has been launched today, with Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP's Valentino Rossi starring on it.
Aldo Drudi, the famous designer of Valentino Rossi's helmets, was commissioned to design the poster and celebrates the 40th birthday of The Doctor along with it acting as a sign of gratitude towards the nine-time World Champion for the fundamental role he has played in feeding the passion for motorcycle racing across the region.
Aldo Drudi: "The San Marino and Riviera di Rimini 2019 GP poster originates from last editions design premises, but for the first time the subject – the rider – is very identifiable. On the occasion of Valentino Rossi’s 40th birthday, I wanted to pay tribute to him by choosing him as the protagonist, redrawing and hand-colouring a beautiful picture of him leaning taken from above by Gigi Soldano.”
