According to the Yamaha Pertamina Indonesia team they simply want 250cc rookie Doni Tata Pradita to qualify for and finish races this season, so the 18 year-old is not going far wrong after three rounds of his first full World Championship season.

Profile
Doni Tata Pradita, born in Sleman, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, started racing bikes at a young age and won two consecutive championships (2003, 2004) in the Novice Class of the Yamaha regional underbone 110cc 4T race series, the Yamaha Asean Cup, in Indonesia. His first steps into MotoGP were from 2005 to 2007 where he had wildcards in the 125cc and 250cc classes. In 2007, he took part in the GP250 class of the All Japan Road Race Championship, whilst in 2008 he raced in the 250cc Grand Prix World Championship season. In 2009, he then switched to the Supersport World Championship with YZF Yamaha Team and scored 8 points from 12 races. From 2010 he was in the Asian Road Racing Championship in the Yamaha Indonesia Racing Team, and in 2013 he makes the step back up to the world stage in Moto2 with the Gresini squad.
