Profile
Marco Colandrea is from Ticino, Switzerland, a border region with Italy which led him to participate almost his whole professional career in the Italian Motorcycle Championship (CIV). His big break came in 2011 when “Cola” had three 125cc wildcard rides in the World Championship, gaining him visibility to further his professional racing efforts. In 2012, he steps into the World Championship full time with the SAG team aboard a Moto2 FTR machine. The youngster has plenty of experience on 600cc bikes, competing for many years in the high-profile German and Italian Championships.
