Son of successful Finnish Team Manager Aki Ajo, Niklas Ajo makes his full World Championship debut with the TT Motion Events Racing team in the 125cc category in 2011.
The Finn started competitive riding in 2006 in minimotos, and in 2008 was selected for the Red Bull Rookies Cup, which he balanced with the Finnish 125cc championship. In 2009 he became the youngest rider in history to take his domestic national title and the following season took part in the famed Spanish championship, continuing his development and riding in the final World Championship round of the year in Valencia.
