San Carlo Honda Gresini Information:

The San Carlo Honda Gresini Team was founded in 1997 by two time 125cc World Champion Fausto Gresini, who currently manages the team. Based in Faenza, Italy, the team runs RC212V 2011 bikes, with Marco Simoncelli on a Factory Honda machine for his second year in the MotoGP class and with the Gresini outfit after moving from the 250cc class.

The squad welcomed Hiroshi Aoyama as the newest addition in 2011, the second year for the Japanese rider in the premier class, replacing Marco Melandri. The 2009 250cc World Champion is aboard a satellite Honda as part of the Gresini team.
