Smith starts home GP weekend as top Briton

The Hertz British Grand Prix saw Monster Yamaha Tech 3 rider Bradley Smith finish as the top Briton and fastest Yamaha rider on Friday.

Monster Yamaha Tech 3 Information:

The Tech3 outfit have been the leading Yamaha satellite team for the last few years in MotoGP™. Led by IRTA President Hervé Poncharal, the French team had their best-ever season among the MotoGP™ elite in 2012 with numerous podiums for Andrea Dovizioso and Cal Crutchlow. British rider Crutchlow stayed put for 2013 to be joined by compatriot Bradley Smith, with the former continuing the team’s podium form. In 2014 Tech3 have a young rider line-up with Smith accompanied by reigning Moto2™ World Champion Pol Espargaro on YZR-M1 machinery.
