Il team Castrol Honda LCR ha annunciato che Cal Crutchlow sostituirà l'infortunato Johann Zarco anche nei Gran Premi della Repubblica Ceca e dei Paesi Bassi.
Tre volte sul gradino più alto del podio della classe regina nella sua carriera, il britannico ha già guidato la RC213V al Mugello e al Balaton Park quest'anno. La sua terza apparizione del 2026 avverrà sul tracciato di Brno, dove ha ottenuto il suo primo podio, nel 2012, e la sua prima vittoria, nel 2016.
Una settimana più tardi scenderà invece in pista ad Assen, che l'ha visto sul podio nel 2013.
