Jonas Folger (Dynavolt Intact GP) went quickest in a very wet Moto2™ Warm Up in the Czech GP, with Leopard Racing’s Danny Kent second fastest and Folger’s teammate Sandro Cortese in P3. Hafizh Syahrin (Petronas Raceline Malaysia) was fourth fastest just before the flag, with Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS rider Alex Marquez remaining very quick in the wetter weather to complete the top 5.
Notable timings were wildcard Anthony West (Montaze Broz Racing Team), who was seventh, and reigning champion Johann Zarco (Ajo Motorsport) who had a difficult session to end up in 22nd place. Alex Rins (Paginas Amarillas HP 40) had an anonymous session in P13, with Sam Lowes (Federal Oil Gresini Moto2) the highest placed title challenger in P8.
