Quartararo quickest in FP3

Leopard Racing rider tops the timesheets on Saturday morning

As always, Moto3™ led the field out on track to begin action on Day 2 of the Gran Premio Movistar de Aragon, and after an improved Friday to end the day in P3 it was Leopard Racing's Fabio Quartararo who proved the first man under the two minute barrier and kept lowering the laptime to keep control of the session. Title hopeful Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Ajo) was second quickest as he closes on the crown, with key rival Jorge Navarro (Estrella Galicia 0,0) in P3.

Juanfran Guevara (RBA Racing Team) was fourth, with Sky Racing Team VR46 rookie Nicolo Bulega closing out the top five ahead of compatriot and P2 in the standings Enea Bastianini (Gresini Racing Moto3). Lorenzo Dalla Porta was the second VR46 rider in P7, with Gabriel Rodrigo (RBA Racing) splitting Dalla Porta and teammate Andrea Migno. Francesco Bagnaia (Gaviota Aspar Mahindra) locked out the top ten in FP3 after a more promising session.

After missing Friday through fever, Leopard Racing's Joan Mir was out on track and straight into the top ten initially, before ending the session in P11. Moto3™ head back out for qualifying at 12:35 local time (GMT+2).
