Kiefer Racing Launch

Danny Kent: "After the long winter break I’m really happy that things will start seriously with our completely new project. Of course, today’s team launch is part of it but foremost I already look forward to start our work on track next week in Valencia. Kiefer Racing will show up in new colours this year and frankly, I like this two-colour design, I’m sure that it will be a unique spot of colour on the grid. The 2017 season will be a new challenge for me though I’m in the team for some years meanwhile. Since we started our collaboration back at the end of 2014, I’ve a great relationship with Stefan and Jochen (Kiefer). And now we made the switch to Suter bikes which is an additional motivation for me. So, we’ll start with a new package even if we had already a two-day test last November with it. This first roll-out with the Suter prototype went really well, bringing promising findings. I had a good feeling with the bike from the beginning and I’m sure that the engineers in Suter did a great job during the winter month to bring a competitive package this year. I’m also proud to have an experienced team mate such as Domi (Aegerter) is. He can count on a lot of experience with this machine and together we’ll develop this bike quickly. However, I won’t speak about expectations and targets ahead of the season but foremost I’m very keen to work hard with my new crew during pre-season testing’s in order to prepare in the possible way for this season. Then we’ll see what happen."

Dominique Aegerter: "I’m really looking forward to this new challenge for me. After two seasons with many up and downs in 2015 and 2016, I would like to thank Stefan and Jochen Kiefer for their trust in me and that they trust in my abilities. This thank you means also to all sponsors and partners. I also look forward to work again with Suter because I had my best years with them in 2013 and 2014. My victory at the Sachsenring as the pinnacle of this collaboration is well in mind. I think, the Suter bike is my baby so I really can’t wait to ride this machine again. With Danny, I’ve a fast teammate who is the first reference. After a busy winter with lots of trainings aboard many different bikes I’m happy now that we’ll start our work on track with the race bike in just one week. Honestly speaking, I’m still not accustomed with this new colours but I like this design a lot, it’s really a great idea. With my comeback aboard a Suter bike, I want to tie up my successful season three years ago, the Suter bike is really my babe."

Stefan Kiefer, Team Manager: “We’re glad, that we’re able to finalize all organization things for this new project in good time before the season gets underway. Today’s team launch at the Nürburgring is the peak of a long and hard time full packed with preparations. Over the course of the winter month many things have changed in our team. Apart from our switch to Suter, we would like to introduce our new main sponsor AirGrinder now too. AirGrinder is a company with head offices in Sweden and Switzerland, specialist in recycling. We would like to express our thanks and look forward to a long and successful relationship. We think, thanks to our partners and in combination with the Suter machine and with our rider line-up with Danny and Domi, Kiefer Racing is to show up with a strong package. We’re ready to tackle this new challenge ahead of us and succeed."
