With the weather moving in on Day 2 and the track damp, it was Fabio Di Giannantonio (Del Conca Gresini Moto3) who took the top spot in Moto3™ FP3 – improving even more on his final lap to end the session a tenth and a half clear of a final push from Enea Bastianini (Leopard Racing). Marco Bezzecchi (Redox Pruestel GP) took third, while Tatsuki Suzuki (SIC58 Squadra Corse), returning from a small break in his arm sustained in Qatar, put in an impressive performance to take P4.
Aron Canet (Estrella Galicia 0,0) stopped on track at the end of the session, troubled by something technical, and ended FP3 in P5.
