Schrötter unstoppable in FP1

German rider quickest from Marquez as Bagnaia and Baldassarri both crash

Marcel Schrötter (Dynavolt Intact GP) was fastest in Moto2™ FP1, just under a tenth clear of Alex Marquez (EG 0,0 Marc VDS), with Jorge Navarro (Federal Oil Gresini Moto2).

Drama hit early in the session, however, as Championship leader Francesco Bagnaia (Sky Racing Team VR46) suffered a tough crash and headed to the medical centre – but was declared fit. The man second in the points, Lorenzo Baldassarri (Pons HP 40), also then crashed in the session – twice, rider ok.
