Pons Racing Moto2™ team and Héctor Barberá have decided to part ways and rescind the contract binding them for the 2018 season. The team made the announcement on Friday, saying, "following the events in Valencia with Hector Barbera on the night of the 07/06/18, on the 08/06/18 PONS Racing and Hector Barbera rescind their 2018 contract by mutual agreement."
The Pons HP 40 team also said they wished to thank Barbera for his services and that they wish him the best in the future.
