After replacing Hector Barbera at the Catalan GP, Pons HP 40 have now confirmed that Augusto Fernandez will remain alongside Lorenzo Baldassarri for the remainder of 2018.
After gaining 10 positions and scoring points in Barcelona, the team say the 20-year-old Majorcan made a good impression and showed his talent riding an unkown Kalex for the first time - able to get on the pace straightaway.
Fernandez will be back out on track alongside Baldassarri at Assen on Friday.

"He's very young and has a lot of talent, and adapted very well to the team's way of working in Barcelona.
