Milan, February 1st 2019. New ambitions, the same passion and the desire to continue to work alongside the Italian talents of the two wheels from bringing to the podium the new generation of Champions.

After a world title won 5 years after its birth, the Sky Racing Team VR46 is ready to face the 2019 season - at the start on March 10th in Qatar - in the sign of continuity, to achieve other important results together with 4 of the most promising riders of the Championship. Luca Marini, Nicolo Bulega in Moto2™ and Dennis Foggia and Celestino Vietti Ramus in Moto3™: all Italian talents on track with the ambition of giving to the public and crowd adrenaline, entertainment and fun.

Pablo Nieto – Team Manager: “We will continue to put the same passion and commitment, for achieving ambitious results. Behind us, we have a Team composed of great professionals, who live as a family. In Moto2, Luca will back to the track at 100% of after he has undergone surgery to the shoulder. He is clever, a hard worker who has shown his real value in 2018. He can make a season as a protagonist and, as a Team, we will try not to let him feel the pressure, supporting him with all our commitment. Alongside him, Nicolo will debut in Moto2 with a bike that can best adapt to his physical characteristics. He has a great talent and I'm sure he will be able to show his potential. In Moto3, there are two very young 2001 ready to impress us. After a year of experience, Dennis has taken the rhythm of the strongest guys, while Celestino has taken the first steps in the Championship. There is a lot of work waiting for them, but we trust that they can be immediately close to the fastest riders.”

Luca Marini: “I'm ready to get back on track after the surgery to the shoulder. I'm fine and the rehabilitation is proceeding in the best way. In the first testing session with the new engine, last November, we had positive feedbacks, but we will learn to become familiar with the bike only in the upcoming weeks. I have closed the season with great results, but it is the time to be focused and work hard to being able to give our maximum since Qatar. It will be important to think race by race, always find the best solutions to adapt the bike and then you can fight for important placements.”

Nicolo Bulega: “To arrive in Moto2 with the World Champion Team is a unique opportunity for everyone: I made my debut with the Sky Racing Team VR46 in 2016 in Moto3 and I am proud to be able to face the jump in the new category with the support and the trust of this family. The new bike, for sure, will better be suited on my body and my riding style and the first testing session, of the last November, gave me a further injection of confidence. I can not wait to get back on the new Kalex and start this adventure.”

Dennis Foggia: “2018 was a busy year, which ended with the first podium in the World Championship. I gained a lot of experience, learned how to handle the critical situations and took the rhythm of the category, the Team and the bike. The new KTM is really fast and the first feedbacks were positive. We will continue in this direction also in the next testing sessions. I would like to be competitive from the first races, stay constantly in the group of the strongest guys and be able to show all my potential.”

Celestino Vietti Ramus: “This is my real debut in the World Championship: a dream for any young rider. I will start the season with a richer bag of experience than I could have expected, but the way ahead of us is still very long and I will continue to work together with the whole Team. During the overseas races, last year, I have learnt a lot about my crew and the bike, but I still have a room for improvement. The goals are: being competitive in the first European races and fighting for the title of the best rookie.”
