Marquez 0.3 clear as rain falls in FP4

Reigning Champion goes fastest ahead of qualifying from Petrucci and Viñales

Repsol Honda Team’s Marc Marquez, despite an early crash at Turn 9, has topped FP4 at the Shark Helmets Grand Prix as the rain started to fall again at Le Mans as Danio Petrucci (Ducati Team) and Maverick Viñales (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) complete the top three.

The track had dried from this morning’s sprinkling but light spots of rain started to fall at the start of FP4, and it caught the number 93 out as a few riders headed out on slicks. By the end, everyone was out on the wets as Marquez, Petrucci and Viñales were split by three tenths. Franco Morbidelli (Petronas Yamaha SRT) and Alex Rins (Team Suzuki Ecstar) were fourth and fifth in the tricky conditions and both will be out for Q1.

Q1 is next up!
