Ducati Team Information:

Last year was one to forget for Ducati, with the arrival of Valentino Rossi turning into something of a damp squib as the riders, crews and engineers struggled to find a suitable set-up for the bike. Several serious modifications were made to the Desmosedici throughout last year, and with no real progress the last few races saw the old engine put in the 2012 frame with one eye on this year. It is hoped that this forward thinking will help the Italian manufacturer regain its spot amongst the front-runners in 2012, and with former champions Rossi and Nicky Hayden on board they are well poised to do so.
