Acccording to motorsport.com, Cal Crutchlow and Honda finalised details of a new contract during the Catalan GP, with the Brit set to sign with the Japanese manufacturer for two years - remaining at LCR Honda with the same factory support as enjoyed until now.
The two-time GP winner reportedly has offers on the table, but the parties involved in the possible new Honda deal accelerated discussions and the announcement could be imminent.
Crutchlow has been involved in development work for the Japanese factory for some time, and has so far taken two GP wins on Honda machinery.
