Speaking to Crash.net earlier this week, Ducati Corse General Manager Gigi Dall’Igna revealed “I only have one target in life” when asked this question: As an engineer, would it be a dream to work with Marc Marquez?
Dall'Igna: "We've developed a completely new chassis"
So far in his career, Dall’Igna has overseen World Championship victories in 125, 250 and WorldSBK, but never in MotoGP™. Joining Ducati in 2014, the Italian’s input has seen a Desmosedici machine take 18 victories, but simply winning races isn't enough.
In response to Crash.net’s question, Dall’Igna said: “You know, I have only one target in my life. I won championships in 125, in 250, in Superbike. But we didn’t win any championship in MotoGP. So this is my clear target; win the championship in MotoGP. So I think that I answered the question…”
Head over to Crash.net to see what Dall’Igna said about Ducati’s future options in terms of riders.
